Limousine Trade Show - Vegas

I had the privilege of attending the 2010 LCT Limousine Trade Show in Vegas.
Getting to Vegas is a mean feat all on its own. From my door in Johannesburg to the door of our hotel at the Venetian in Vegas, the total time was 30 hours. We had a comfortable and pleasant flight on Delta Airlines. It’s the first time I have used them, and will most certainly use them again.

We arrived in Vegas on a Saturday afternoon and spent much of the day trying to adjust to the fact that we were 8 hours away from our normal “time zone”.
On Monday the 25th it was “Show Time”. We met leading limousine livery operators from around the world, and for three days attended workshops designed to help us become the Captains of our industry. A good opportunity to market my web site www.limousinehire.co.za .

A very important emphasis was on customer service and ethical behavior. I found the lectures interesting and this helped me to “refresh” ideas, and think of ways to get my company back to the basics of providing an excellent service to our client base.
Besides a good education, we had the opportunity to view the latest limousines for 2010. The show floor was full of the latest limos promising fuel efficiency, more sound, more of this and that, but really all that interested me was the imagination, effort and time put into the craft of designing and building a beautiful limousine.
I had a good time at the LCT Trade Show, glad that my company had a presence and look forward to attending more Limousine shows in the future.
